The stifling heat was killing him. Or, it seemed like it, at least. Even here, too. It was annoying, but there had to be a cooler place somewhere, right? That was what lead the gray hued male to the cave, and he didn't hesitate to enter the cave, walking further and deeper into the cave. The further he went, the more uncomfortable it got, and Arsenal was about to turn when the cry caught his attention. He didn't think much of it at first; in this weather, he wanted to cry, too. But, curiosity got the best of him, and despite the slight anger at himself, he padded forwards. When he found the source, he froze, unsure of what to take in first.

Clearing his throat awkwardly, he hoped that the pup's mother wasn't anywhere nearby; at least, not close enough that she could have easily traveled back and heard that.
But still. One couldn't blame him. The feline was odd, and not much smaller than him. It seemed much thinner as well, and the markings were...Well, they were unique. Waiting for an answer from the feline, he didn't offer the pup that had howled any of his attention, besides an ashamed glance in her general direction now and again.
