They had gone off in search of Morgan's children. He wasn't sure what was wrong with her, but something was off, and Lovatt wanted her to tell him. He would not rush the process, however. When she wanted to tell him, she would. And until then, Lovatt would wait patiently. He had waited six years for her love; he could wait a little longer. For whatever she remembered or didn't remember, Lovatt had managed to capture the heart of the female that he had fallen in love with even before he knew what love was, and that was enough for him. She, in all of her glorious imperfection, was enough for him. Whatever flaws she possessed, whatever had happened to her while he was gone, he loved her endlessly, and he hoped to prove that with this, by loving her children as much as he loved her.

His tail waved slightly as she spoke, voice soft in the cool air. "I'm sure that they'll come, love." Lovatt murmured softly, settling down to wait, his side pressed against hers. Brown and white fit together perfectly, and despite the sharp contrast between their fur colors, Lovatt thought that they looked perfect together. Though that was due almost entirely to her, to her beauty.

Nudging Morgan lightly, Lovatt leaned down to press his muzzle against her ear. "They'd have to be crazy not to." He murmured softly, "And in case I haven't mentioned it recently, I love you." There was still a sense of joy in saying that. He loved her. And she loved him. They belonged to each other. Together, they would make things work. He was in the prime of his life, they had found a pack to join. They would be happy. They would get the happily ever after that he thought had been ripped away from him four years ago, when his pack had been killed.
