Home Sweet Hole

He would take a moment simply to close his eyes and attempt to focus himself. He did not want to be putting on any sort of act for this. He did not need to be anything other than his honest self. After all, the worst that could happen was that he would be turned away and would have to go back to the life he'd lived previously. After a deep breath, he opened his eyes again, feeling better than he had before. Faite had remained silent which was rather unlike her, though he could feel her eyes on him at times.
It did not take very long at all for her call to be answered by another, which drew Adrian's attention to the red figure moving swiftly in their direction. He blinked. Red. A red wolf. His coat a similar color to the sky as it would sometimes appear early in the morning. Or a more accurate comparison, to bright crimson blood. To Faite it was probably quite normal, but to him this was incredibly out of the ordinary. He couldn't imagine the coat was very easy to conceal. It would probably stand out against almost any background, perhaps making hunting or stealth missions more difficult.
He shook his head. There he went, already overthinking things. The red wolf certainly carried himself like a leader, with a stature of confidence and pride. The color of his coat, coupled with his size which became more clear as he approached certainly gave him an intimidating look. The particular color of his eyes stood out, and it was perhaps because of this stark contrast between sapphire and red that Adrian could not avert his gaze. Not that he had wanted to.
Regulus's words seemed accepting and inviting. He introduced his full name, also offering his title. Archangel must have been the formal term for his position as leader. That was good to know. He also seemed pleased to see his sister, though Faite had yet to actually say anything. He supposed she was leaving it up to him to talk first. He could do that.
"I thank you for your welcome. My name is Adrian." He would speak, returning the nod with one of his own. "Faite has already told me a few things about your pack, so I decided to accompany her, to learn more." There was no doubt Regulus already truly knew why Adrian was here, but it seemed best to be as thorough and truthful in this response as was possible. The smaller details could be important. They always were for him.
