He had been born into his own family, with his own parents, with his sister Luna. They had been a happy family, loving and caring towards one another. He always respected and loved his parents beyond words. They had always provided for him, cared for him, tended to him whenever he needed it, they had been his constant support. And Luna, she had been the first partner in his life, his sister, his partner in crime. But those were time pasts. He would never see his mother again, never see his father again, never see Luna again. And the thought saddened him. He'd always thought that when he finally found that woman that he was going to spend the rest of his life with, that he would introduce her to his parents, to his sister and she and his sister would hit it off and they would become the best of friends. And when his wife became pregnant, he would joyfully announce the news to his parents and they would be there for the birth, to welcome their grandchildren into the world. But that was never going to happen. His parents would not be able to meet his children, never be able to meet Desdemona, his beautiful wife. It was a depressing realization, but one he would have to accept.

Wiping the thoughts of his deceased family from his mind, the ivory knight brought his full attention back to the moment at hand. He was celebrating the fact that his wife was pregnant with his children. There was no time to be moping around for something that couldn't be changed. He had to stay in the now because this, him and Desdemona, their growing children within her womb, this was his preset and his future now. There was no use in looking back into the past. There was nothing for him there anymore. The past had to be left in the past. He had a family to take care of now. Her beautiful smile would chase away the lingering thoughts of what was no more, enveloping him in the joys of his coming family. His own jowls would split ever wider, his grin nearly spanning his entire fa?ade. How could he not be happy about such news? A father. Who would've thought him to become a father so soon. Yes, his wife had committed a mistake, betrayed him in her blind search for the betterment of the pack, but that was all forgotten now. That too was in the past. He had forgiven her transgression, thrown it out like it had never existed. She was only a mortal being, no godly being that was perfect and made no mistakes. Why should he hold a simple mistake against her and miss out on something to amazing as the starting of their own family? No, he didn't care about that anymore. He just hoped she would be able to forgive herself and forget it as well.

She would laugh at his antics, finding him inability to control his emotions quite endearing, making him that much more giddy. As he fawned over her, bathing her in kisses, trying unsuccessfully to mold her body to his, he would feel moisture leak from her pretty mismatched eyes, causing him to pull back, audits pinning themselves against his crown as he reached up, swiping at her tears. Please don't cry mi amor, I can not bear to see you cry. And I will only be the most amazing father because I have such an awe-inspiring wife at my side to help me raise the product of my undying love to you. His words were thick, husky whispers as his own tears prickled at his icy and maroon eyes, threatening to spill over, the emotions crashing through him becoming somewhat overwhelming as they constricted his throat.
