From all the way down in the East, Bass perked up when he heard the echoes of a howl from Karabela. It would seem that ifs and buts were just not enough for her, and she honestly didn't blame her. This way she was starting fresh, allowing herself to start fresh with no drama behind it. Even though he wasn't there, he was still proud of her. She really was making her own way, setting her sights high. He also knew that it meant it was time to let her go. Smiling from atop his den, he thumped his tail on the warm stone under him. "You'll do good kid," he whispered to himself, laying his head back down on his paws. Ivory Ridge was going to be hers, if no one challenged her for it. He hoped that they would be neighbours soon, he missed having a pack that shared his borders. With a sigh, he really did wish the female well.
