Bass Destruction

Qualm said nothing in reply to his speech, but he stood up and pressed his head against his own shoulder. Letting out a soft huff of air, he leaned his cheek against the boy's face, saying his goodbye without even speaking. He stood as the slate blue boy made his way off to say goodbye to his family, watching as he walked away with an air of confidence around him. Bass smiled as he watched him disappear. He was sad that he was taking his leave, but also glad that he was able to make an impression on him. It would be worse if he left Abaven having learned nothing at all. Letting out a sigh, he looked over his shoulder and perked as he heard a howl at the borders. Was that... was that Starling? Confused and somewhat unbelieving, he headed towards the howl with his brows furrowed together.
