He rather liked this lake. Where he had been here recently with Karabela. After all it was near Abaven, and with that in mind he would start scavenging towards the edge of the lake. Humming to himself as he felt the wet cool water against his hot paws. It was alarming though seeing how much the water had receded from the shore. Leaving caked mud about a few feet until it reached the edge of the forest that lined the lake for a small bit.
Qualm stopped as he saw himself in the water. Brown ears finding themselves flicking towards the sounds of the birds around him. For the longest time he regarded his appearance as a curse. Since he looked so much like his father compared to his sister. Now though he had left that behind, as he breathed he lifted his head. Life was alright. |
