Qualm watched as it seemed he'd startled her. It became apparent that she understood that he wasn't here to hurt her, so with that he would try and calm himself as well. Her question posed him as odd. Sure she was only a yearling, but by then he knew how to hunt. "In essence yeah." he nodded his head. "I could just grab you a rabbit. Possibly give you some herbs for the road?" shit, he didn't want to leave her alone though.

"My name's Qualm - what's yours?" he smiled at the young female. Perhaps this was a new friend. Maybe if it was allowed he could bring her with him. He wasn't sure about getting a bunch of tag a longs but something about leaving this one alone felt a little wrong.
