Beyond Understanding Great, out of one bit of trouble and onto the next. She’d managed to get this far with the help of a couple loners, but now she was lost again. She was starting to wonder if leaving their sides, peasants or not, was worth it. She was getting skinnier, and if she got in a much worse state, well, she might as well be dead at that point, right? Her paws trudged through the the grass around a lake, thirst drawing her close to the water. She couldn’t remember what way was home anymore. She wasn’t sure she cared either. If her daddy really loved her then surely he’d look for her soon, right?
But as she neared the water she spotted a creature with an odd coat. Another wolf, but his coat had shades of slate and brown upon it. Curious the girl drew closer, ears perked forward as she breathed in a slow breath. The young man was none other than Qualm, and spying him looking in the water the girl spoke up. “…Hello.” Nah breathed in slowly. If this male took her home then she was going to stay with him this time. At least then she wouldn’t have to worry about where her next meal was coming from.
