The idea that his question didn't really benefit him no matter how the answer turned out never really crossed his mind. He'd simply wanted to know, and so he'd asked. He supposed that it could benefit him, if the man were digging for some hidden treasure or food or something of that sort - but what were the odds of the man answering honestly if he was indeed digging for something like that? Gin determined the odds were slim at best. Still, he'd asked, and he nodded placidly as he received his answer. A den for the night. "Could take a while," he noted quite obviously. "Why not just go home?" Of course, the man may not have a home.. but who didn't have a home? Well, Gin didn't - but he ignored that fact. He didn't have a home because he didn't want one. Not because he couldn't get one. He continued to eye the two-tone fellow, falling onto his haunches in sync with the other male. "Name's Gin." His name was actually much more complicated, but Gin suited him just fine. He wasn't the sort to care much for fancy surnames and the like. His two-toned gaze shifted beyond the other, studying the wind as it blew softly and shook snow from a tree not twenty yards away. "Seems like it's going to be a cold one," of course referring to the night. The temperature was dropping rapidly, but being a child of the winter meant he was used to it - and even preferred it.
