The male tried to get his senses correct. For a while he had his nose in some water. Holding his breath, trying to get the thoughts out of his head. Regardless he let them settle, one good eye looking forward. The water wasn't much because of the heat, he had half a mind to return to the falls. Quelt also wanted to seek out Bright Moon. Discuss a few things, see how she was doing. See if their attempt to start a family was successful. It was an odd thing to say, but that's how life worked he supposed.
The large scarred male would stand and move across the mangrove. Tongue flopping out of his mouth from the heat. He hoped that Summer passed quickly, for a wide variety of reasons of course. The heat, an the lack of water put them in some sort of danger. They were lucky and he was grateful that Leo had moved their lands to the falls. It meant Fiori would not go without. |
