Plan A down the drain

A smile would grace the woman's features as Xephyris came into view and the smile would only grow as the man picked up his pace to great her in her own language. She had left his side to find her siblings hoping that one of them could teach them both only to return to find that he had picked up a new French word. It made her love him more to know that even in her absence he was trying to learn to communicate with her. Soleil didn't understand all of his next words but she knew the word beautiful had been spoken and she couldn't help but lean into him as he pressed his nose into the side of her neck. He had called her beautiful, or at least she was pretty sure he had, and she wasn't about to miss an opportunity to show him that she appreciated him. She would turn her head just enough to nuzzle the side of his neck before speaking. "Tout comme vous êtes le plus bel homme que je sais"

She didn't know much, but what she did know was that she loved this man with all her heart and that she would follow him anywhere. Especially since he waited for her to return from a failed hunt for her siblings. He didn't have to do that, hell he didn't even know just how strongly she felt for him, but he had stayed and that was enough for her. She was pretty sure she was ready for anything he could throw her way.
