Loose threads

He was just lucky that Leo was kind. If this had been another wolf he probably could have gotten into some deep trouble. At least, Quelt assumed that was how it worked. It wasn't like no one got distracted over things. He shifted a little, as Leo asked him he would chuckle a bit nervously. "Well the first thing I wanted to talk about was my rank. I don't think I'd be any use to a specific category of fighter or hunter, even healer anymore. I do have my experience at least - so I'd like to be a scholar." he hoped there wasn't a problem with this. Quelt didn't want to be useless. He was getting older though.

"The second is... Bright Moon is pregnant... I'm the father." Quelt breathed it out trying to make sure he kept himself calm. "We hit it off really well and I really do like her. I've just been a bit paranoid about me doing my part." he said as he looked off to the side. How the hell were you supposed to be a good dad anyway?
