He grinned at her before pawing at her head and she ducked, ears flattening, as she let out a laugh of her own. Ears would perk forward again as he offered an answer and she found herself intrigued. A spar certainly sounded like fun. She still needed to work on sparring larger opponents and Regulus were certainly bigger than her mother so that meant she could focus on her weaknesses and learn how a large wolf moved. Not to mention the fact she needed to be able to defend her home in a challenger came so she nodded. "Going till one of us drops sounds fun." She grinned. She knew in a real fight that wouldn't be as great, but for now it seemed like good practice. He backed off to ten feet to give them some distance. She let her own defenses slide into place as he did so. Her head lowered and she tucked her chin closer to her throat while her ears flattened against her head. Legs spread apart and splayed to grip the earth. She let her tail flag out parallel to the ground as she aligned her spine to keep herself straight as she faced Regulus. The hair along her neck and spine rose and shoulders rolled forward as the skin bunched up around her neck. Lastly she narrowed her eyes and bunched the skin around her eyeballs for the extra padding. She had debated on giving him the first move, but then she decided against it. She let the muscles in her legs tense as she prepared herself before she took off at a run. She aimed to close the distance between them. Rather than rushing him head on like a larger wolf would do, she angled to her left, his right, as she aimed to skim past him to get to his hind end. Her tail would tuck now to make it less of a target as she aimed to bite at his side near the point of the hip met the rib cage, assuming he hadn't moved himself yet. Ritsy was all but forgotten, she hadn't even really notice him arrive, as she focused. Round 1 of 6 ooc: Bri and I agreed on ten feet between them and 6 rounds. Walk, "Talk" Think |
