The meeting had been a blur for the girl. She couldn't even remember one point her uncle had brought up. She had arrived late, though not overly late, and sat quietly throughout the remainder of the meeting, staring down at her ebony paws. She didn't talk, interact, or conveyed much emotion on her features, until the gathering drawled to a close. The crowd slowly dissolved, and before she could allow herself to follow the tide of the wolves, she noticed her mothers and sister remaining behind. They beckoned her over and so she joined them, glad they could spend some quality girly time together to lift her spirits. She pressed her cream-furred form into both women, hoping to join their little embrace. She didn't like to feel neglected, you see, no matter how older she seemed to be now. |
