He seemed like the expert on this territory, and she honestly wasn't that surprised. She would be to, if she had been bothered memorising key details of her birthplace. And the gulley wasn't nearly as interesting as this structure. It took her breath away. She couldn't pry her rubies away from it as she followed behind him, ensuring she stepped in the same places as he. He led her through a hole to what seemed to be a bridge. They travelled deeper down the canal until they reached another large tear in the structure's material, proving to be an entrance to the caves. Green paws landed graciously as she leapt into the cavern, allowing herself to be awestruck by the coloured crystals. Even the floor was coloured, and at the far side of the cavern, water dripped from the ceiling to create a medium-sized pool. It was even more wondrous up close, like a magical dance floor yearning for their paws to grace upon. "It's beautiful," she whispered into his neck, feeling quite like the princess. He never failed to impress her anyway. |
