The man had risen early that morning, feeling frustrated that Surreal had still not yet shown signs of getting better. Currently he’d been delaying Kieryn’s training, doing his best to give her time with her mother and get better herself. But such a thing could not wait forever, he knew. Eventually she was going to need to train, whether Surreal was better or not. Castiel worried for his sister too, truthfully, but what more could he do for her right now other than make sure her little one was prepared for the future? He was no healer after all.
After padding to the den where he suspected Kie likely still was after a long night the man called softly to the child with a bark. “Come Kieryn. The time for training has come, child.” The man felt a pang in his heart upon scenting his sister.
