What's a guy gotta do?

Faite had felt like she'd done nothing but travel the past few weeks. She was just as ambitious and driven as when she'd started and she felt like she was making some leeway with her idea. Of course it would still take some time before it came to fruition, but she was willing to have some patience for once. She was happy, excited, bubbly, and overall as determined as ever. She knew she was probably skirting some duties back home, but Regulus was going to need to learn to do things by himself. He was naturally good at leadership and she knew he'd be alright doing it alone. Celestial needed some work, that was for sure, with a lack of hunters and the constant inactivity. She felt like she wasn't the one to have to kick it in gear though. She was impressed with a few of the members. Acapella seemed to have stepped it up. She'd already decided to talk to Regulus after the hunt to see if he'd promote her to a hunter. She'd organized it well and despite the lack of members that showed up, she'd still done a good job with what she had and the turnout had been better than the one Varda called. It bothered her that Regulus never showed up to these kinds of things, but she'd never admit it out loud. He was probably busy - it's what she told herself at least. It was nice to see one territory that hadn't been marred by the blazing summer heat. Lush grass and thick vegetation still covered this land and it seemed like the prime area for prey. She stumbled across the slow moving river that ran through it and happily jumped in. She stayed in the shallow ends and easily worked her way down the river. The warm water felt nice against her ankles and by the time she'd made some progress she'd already managed to dampen the rest of her legs and her stomach as well. Her pace slowed as an orange fellow came into view though with dark legs and an interesting white eye patch as a marking. Her tail waved eagerly as she neared and her face was almost always a welcoming smile. "Hello!" She called out happily. "It's nice to see there's still some nice places around here that aren't effected as badly by the lack of rain." She commented, glancing at the river. Conversation came to her as easily as the river flowed downstream and she didn't mind that it was with a stranger. Walk, "Talk" Think |
