As she lie there on her back, watching the clouds, she contemplated the restless nature growing inside her. Was this what her mother had felt before leaving her parents and siblings behind in a world that Azalea would never know? It was extremely doubtful that he mother had come from some terrible life. She was too kindly for it.

A fear struck her heart at the thought that she could ever be tempted to leave her home here in Valhalla. She was born to this pack and was bound to it in every possible way. For as much as she wanted to roam, to learn more about the world outside of the pack, she had never harbored any need to leave. She sighed, hoping things stayed that way. Her relief was short lived, shoving her next into a mini panic attack over the thought that if things remained as they were in Valhalla, she would one day be the wolf the enter pack looked to for answers. She could only hope that by that time she would have the answers they needed and the strength to be a good leader.

Failure was not an option.

There was a bark that sounded from far too near, causing her to roll to her toes, bouncing up into a defensive standing position. What her amber eyes caught sight of was not a threat at all. Well, maybe to her heart which was now fluttering wildly in her chest cavity. Gael. Could it really be her brother? Where was Soleon? Was Soleon following behind? She looked around but only for a moment before her happiness crazed brother caught her. His affection rained down on her and her tail whipped just as wildly as his did.

"Gael!" She reared up, paws locking around his neck. She was not worried of his ability to support her weight. She was petite compared to him, lacking a whole 5 inches in height alone. She gave him two long licks right between the eyes before releasing him and dancing away from his reach.

"Its been so long! We need to celebrate. We need to tell.. someone. Is Soleon with you? Is he coming home, too?" Her questions all blurred together and she paced in circles. She stopped, ears rising high on her head and eyes meeting those that watched her. "Mother and father are not here! Glaciem needed mother's help in training healers."

She paused, her mind wheeling back to the last time she had actually seen her brothers. It had been forever. When last she had seen a pup, now an adult stood before her. "Everything has happened since you went away, Gael. Father gave up the crown but not before making a lot of wolves mad. It was terrible. Cairo took temporary control and tried to give Valhalla to Epiphron and a wolf named Icarus. Epiphron gave her position to Chrysanthe, she's going to marry Maverick of Seracia very soon. Syrinx challenged for the throne but lost. So Chrysanthe is our only alpha now. Things have calmed down now, much better than they were and oh, Chrysanthe named me Heir. But I don't know when our parents will be back, I guess when they finally get all those healers trained up. I guess their lead healer was murdered, that sucks, but who knows." She had to stop to catch her breath, rambling through the details in a very monotone voice.
