The summer days were getting more and more hot, to the point where he wasn’t sure if he could even come out around noon when the sun was at its highest point. But he needed to check the water levels at the lake in the plains and the river. He headed to Monument Rapids first, when he saw Dart trying to fish in the more shallow parts. He grinned, the rapids had slowed down to normal river speeds as the water level got lower and he had an idea. Crouching low to the ground he sauntered up behind the fox. Positioning himself, his tail curled up and over his spine as he jumped up to him. Bass aimed to keep his body low in hopes of knocking his chest into his backside, hopefully tossing his furry friend into the water. Quickly he danced back a few steps in case he didn’t fall in and Dart sought some sort of retaliation.
