He speaks and she listens. She doesn't mind listening. Selene has learned, after all, to be an okay listener. It makes you kind of a shitty person to be a bad listener, and she didn't want that. She didn't want to be a bad person. That was probably among the starlit's top five fears. Being an asshole. Unless she was high anxiety, then there was a 100% chance she was going to be an asshole, but who's counting? Her head quirks softly to the side as the boy brings up his siblings, sitting beside him. "I could help you look if you want." An offer, and not an empty one. Selene doesn't pass up adventures.
He continues to speak, and her head tilts softly to the side. She's listening. There's a light smile on her face, trying to absorb and absolve as much awkward energy as she can. It's not awkward unless you make it awkward. "That could be fun, the crick is nice, I haven't gotten to see much of it myself." Kind smile. She was going to be kind, fuck damnit.
