Qualm easily noticed the girl considering his alertness. Raising his head for a moment the fact that she hadn't approached him was probably for her own reasons. However he smiled, if she knew this area well he could ask her some questions. The male would use his senses to seek her out before remaining a few feet away giving her personal space as he smiled at her. "Hello there." he greeted as he sat down. Relaxing his muscles to show that he meant no harm, as well as his sitting position.

"My name's Qualm are you from around here miss? You see I'm herb hunting." so if she could provide him with any information than that would be great. One thing with exploring lands came the herb hunting along with it. There was a lot of luscious plants here it seemed and he'd have to inspect most of them to get what he needed.
