Trees as big as the world

Neptune heard someone walking toward him and he looked over to see a lady with blue eyes walking over to him. He didn't really understand what it meant to be scared of strangers yet so he was just happy to see someone else out here. He hadn't seen anyone since he left the den. "I'm Nep-une," he told her, frowning and scrunching his nose up a little at his own words. No, that wasn't right. "Nep...tune. Neptune!" he corrected himself, struggling over the T in his name. He gave her a smile when he finally got it right, his thin tail wagging behind him. "I dunno where they are..." he answered with a frown. Before he could say any more, his stomach growled loudly again and his ears flicked back against his head. "Um... Miss So-a... Sora. Coud you hep me find food? Pwease?" he asked, looking up at her hopefully. He hopped down from the tree root he had been standing on, standing in front of her and tipping his head back more so he could look up at her again.
