Traveling Soldier
OOC: [ ]
Lacking in trepidation the lord would move, his figure roaming unannounced to the chivalrous little beings of Valhalla. Though, he belonged in such a category. While he was more serpentine of the lot, his heart was powerful and true. Strong and honorable. His nose lifted to the scent of another. Dancing in delightful notice of some foreign scent. though, the closer he got, he would come to realize that the scent he was finding was not unknown. Gael Adravendi home again, how nice. Gael, Soleon, and himself had been the only Adravendi's born into a very long line that were male's. The last being Cairo, and of course, Collision was no truly an Adravendi. Though, the title was his to hold, thus it was his children's.
A particularly interesting set of lyrics graced his ears as he approached and a disappointed smile enveloped his features. He didn't think he was fit to rule, eh? Grunting from the distance he would move, increasing his speed, to bring him to the side of the younger children. Though, they were arguably about full grown. Needing to still mature though, yes, that would be best, "You've been gone near 9 months and yet you see me not fit to rule? Interesting..." the thought didn't stir well with the russet lord and he would find himself sitting beside them, crafting a makeshift triangle between them, "Chrysanthe didn't beat me. I stopped the challenge when I watched my father have a heart attack," That much was true, and hopefully, Gael wound understand the levity and wrongness of his words. Assuming things without having been given the entire story.
"When my father passes, I still become the patriarch of our family, I will still lead us to greatness. Chrysanthe rules well, just as I would have, don't be so quick to speak young one," The male's tail writhed behind him in curiosity. How would they respond? Would they digress at the respect for Cairo? Surely, knowing now that something so horrendous had happened, they would realize that he had the strength to stop; to digress, at the site of his father, his beloved sire falling into the powers of the Earth. It wouldn't be long before the man was gone, and honestly, the thought did break syrinx's heart. It also broke him to witness these children scrutinizing him when they realized little of his own capabilities.
"Speech!".
