Baine seemed to visibly relax a bit when Faite explained why she was here. She felt a fair bit of curiosity about it, but she didn't bring it up. Whatever it was she was sure it wasn't a problem. Instead her ears flicked as Baine said she'd mostly been hanging around the borders waiting for Tornach. Her own smile fell a bit as she thought of their darker coated younger sibling. She could see his absence bothered her sister, especially since he was her only litter mate, and Faite felt a pang of guilt. She realized she definitely should have come seen Baine sooner. Was she lonely? She went on to admit that she should have been helping more with the pack, but she did miss him. She nodded solemnly and the smile had faded from her lips. She sort of knew how Baine was feeling, or so she believed, since she'd been gone for that one time. Was that how her sister felt about Tornach? She wouldn't pretend to know why their sibling had left. She wished she had some words of encouragement for Baine, but in the end she was just as clueless as anyone else. "I'm sure Tornach has a very good reason for not visiting very often. Next time you see him you should tell him you miss him and that he should come around more. He may just try to take the time to come try and see you a bit more often." She was painfully optimistic about it. She flashed a smile at her paler sister and tried to be uplifting. She wasn't familiar with Tornach, she barely knew him, but she could only hope that family meant enough to him. She could see Baine needed him around and even if he didn't join the pack again he could always come visit a bit more. Surely he wasn't that busy? Her attention shifted though as Baine changed the topic and she shrugged her shoulders with a grin. "To be honest it's a bit exhausting. I feel like I go everywhere lately and I don't think there's one part of our territory that I don't know about with all the border patrols." She laughed. "To be honest it's a lot of responsibility I didn't think I'd ever have, but I like it." Walk, "Talk" Think |
