The two are quickly animated, engaged in combat and quick movements. Pharos' attack, met with partial evasion, echoes in his body as he feels the dull ache of collision. Frustration seethes in the back of his throat until it boils upward in the form of another ghastly snarl, lips drawn upwards. The whites of his eyes are barely visible as the two fight, his left side now adjacent to her right. Although he predicts the bruising, adrenaline prevents the male from detecting the wound just yet. Meanwhile, the woman fortifies her stance quickly; even quicker, still, is her attempt to attack him. His hackles raised continuously so as to prevent her from any strong hold on his scruff (should she seek that area), he had not expected the amazon to be able to respond so quickly. Regardless, the wolf recollects himself. There is little that daunts him; he simply responds. His ears are angled toward his skull per usual, shoulders fortified and paws fixed firmly on the ground once they had collided.
Now only inches from each other, he can feel the impending reach of her jaws. The woman was smart, but his brute force would knock her off her course of action. Purposefully ramming his nape/shoulders upwards with a thrust from the ground, Pharos both attempts to slam her jaws shut and evade her effort to trip him. The movements are conducted in a matter of milliseconds, gaze calculated and sharpened. As he moves, his tail swoops like a flag to balance the immense bulk that was Pharos. Therefore, when her endeavor to shove him to the ground is triggered, he is best able to absorb the force with flexibility: pushed to his left, approximately 18 inches away, after his attack on her jaws is aimed.
In the midst of it all, the two kick up so much debris from the ground beneath their feet that a plume begins to form.
Round 2 of 4 for Spar
DEFENSES: Lips drawn upwards in a snarl, eyes narrowed to protect them. Hackles raised to prevent an unprotected grasp on his nape. Ears angled backwards, shoulders set forward to protect the throat better, stance fortified for more balance.
ATTACK: Seeks to shove his body upwards toward her attack and knock her jaws shut while also avoiding the trip attempt of his right limb.
INJURIES: Bruising to his left shoulder, mild ache.
