Castiel waited but a moment for Kieryn to emerge from the den and when she did the man offered the young girl a smile. He wasn’t entirely sure what sort of training the girl even wanted, let alone what he was supposed to teach her. Defenses were certainly a must with fighting... But perhaps he’d let her decide if she’d rather start with that or hunting? It couldn’t hurt to give Kieryn some wiggle room with her training, right? The pale man took a small breath, his gaze shifting towards the sky as if he was in thought.

“I thought I’d give you an option on what we started with, Kier.” Cas finally said, making his decision. “We’ve got some fighting basics to go over or we could work on your hunting skills first. Both are necessary of course but I don’t see any harm in letting you figure out which you’d rather start out with.” Cas gave a small smile to Kieryn, focusing on her again. “Though if you’re aspiring to be a healer you’ll need to speak with Kav about that one.” He chuckled.
