Enlil seemed to only get more upset by her words. He insisted the butterflies were pretty (which she didn't overly care about) and that they were nice. She didn't see how something as mindless as a butterfly could be nice, they didn't even talk, but she was barely wise enough to keep her mouth shut. She didn't see how the death of a single butterfly impacted him so deeply, but he was obviously upset she'd killed it and she seemed to only be making it worse by not sharing his same sentiment about the creatures. She didn't feel as awful about it considering he'd killed one also, but it didn't mean that every single one warranted a burial upon death. She was doing her best to see why they were so special. It was obviously something she wasn't going to understand so with a resigned sigh she nodded, mostly to herself, and was ready to help. Now she just felt guilty for making Enlil cry as he sniffled and began to claw at the earth to dig a suitable burial site. She glanced at the stupid creature in disbelief, hardly believing that this thing as the culprit of something so drastic, but in the end she set to helping him dig out a grave for the creature. If it made him feel better, whether or not she agreed to it, she supposed she'd do it. "I'm sorry I upset you." She apologized almost reluctantly, trying to fill the silence that she'd let take hold. "I didn't realize you liked them so much." Walk, "Talk" Think |
