Through pain of heart or loss of mind
Autumn...another season that brought him closer to the end. He knew that he didn't have long, and still he had yet to confront the daughter that he had searched for so long. What kept him away? He wasn't entirely sure. He did know he was afraid, deathly afraid that she would be so angry with him. His lost little girl had finally been found after so many years...and still, he blamed himself. He was always in a mixed state of content and discontent. Between wanting to make sure she knew he was here, and wanting to remain at a distance. Watching over her. He was happy to know that she was alive and well, but his heart ached with the indecision. He'd been in Fiori for a year now, and all he'd done was watch from afar. Perhaps...it would remain this way until he died.
The old male found his way to the hot springs, Fiori's former territory. The hot water often helped with his aching bones, and perhaps it would help him figure out what to do. Where would he die? Would he even talk to Ashe before he did? Blue eyes that had begun to get clouded watched the bubbling waters as he slipped into one of the shallow pools. Sighing, he rested his head on the ground as the water worked it's temporary magic.
