He had slowly been heading towards the west since he had spoken to Faite. There was a certain chill in the air that spoke of winter, and he knew that it would be foolish to keep himself out in the open. But his wandering was aimless, he wasn't quite sure where he was going. Cedar was at his side as they strolled through the unknown territory, when a thick fog soon wrapped around them. Sucking in a deep breath, a sense of fear rose in the gray man's belly. They could hardly see a foot in front of them, both canines slowing their steps to move with caution. An eerie call of a crow sounded from somewhere to the left, making Oleander flinch at the sudden harsh noise. This was just getting to be a bit too much, far more than he had bargained for. The wolf turned to move back in the direction that they had come from, but the thickness of the fog blocked his view in every way. His tail moved upwards to tuck towards his belly, his flank tapping against Cedar. It almost made him jump out of his skin, shuddering as he eyed the smaller man. Even the stoic jackal was displaying signs of fear, where he usually avoided showing any emotion at all. Swallowing hard, he knew that it was up to him to lead them out of this. Squinting his teal eyes, he tried to keep an eye out for any kind of landmark at all, perhaps a stone or fallen log that he could clamber on to get a better view. But all he could see was a wall of gray, making him feel panicky and claustrophobic. Ollie's heart hammered in his chest as he stood stalk still, unsure where he was supposed to go from here. Cedar let out a high pitched whine, and he pressed himself against his brother. They could get through this together, they just needed to wait until they could see a bit better.

"OLLIE SPEAKS" -- "CEDAR SPEAKS"

Oleander speaks Latin, but is fluent in English. Cedar is a black backed jackal and is always with Ollie unless otherwise stated.
