Bump in the night

It was late in the night, much later then it had normally taken him. He had just finished patrolling the borders of the territory. Halfway through he had allowed himself to sidetrack to catch a fat rabbit to share with Caelum. He had carried it within his mouth as he finished his rounds before he turned to head back to the Cavern. Things had been different since they had shifted to live here. Something new had blossomed between them and it was leaving him somewhat torn. He was really enjoying the change, yet he wasn't sure how to feel because he felt he was betraying Ilona (even though she was gone). They needed each other to move on, but he was hoping the Ilona wasn't turning in her grave from it. Pausing at the entrance of the cavern he looked around one last time before heading inside to find where in the Cavern the Caelum was. His pace was slow, walking through the cavern with ease and comfort. Talking & Thinking |
