Enjoy the Silence

Caelum stalked through the fog-cloaked forest on nearly silent paws, moving carefully in an attempt to not spook a particularly fat rabbit she had been following for some time. She kept low to the ground, staying downwind of it and moving slowly to avoid unnecessary or accidental noise. Her heart was racing in her chest as she inched closer, nearing the perfect pouncing distance with every step. Ears pricked forward, tail held level with her spine she would watch her prey with hungry blue eyes. It had been a while since she'd had a good meal. Here was her chance.
Creeping through the underbrush she made her way ever closer, her light pelt finding a bit of camouflage in the pale fog that seemed to only be getting thicker as the seconds ticked by. She was far too busy to notice the haunting atmosphere though, her attention solely focused on the furry creature she was after. Finally she saw her chance and leapt forward, jumping up and racing to pounce on the rabbit, hopefully before it could escape to it's nearby burrow.
