The alphess was getting restless. Members were leaving, though she didn't particularly mind. Especially when it was the unproductive ones. Her paw steps seemed almost quiet as she wandered the pathway of these caves,Tanaraq carefully perched on her back as the wandered to see what they could find. Though she wasn't really looking for anything to begin with, but it helped to get her mind off of things at home. Plus, this place seemed challenging. Keeping her on her toes, shadows flickering and sounds occasionally bouncing off the walls. Rats, bats, spiders...who knew what else. Maybe some crazy zombie bear. She snorted, right...she supposed the suspense and darkness was making her think childish thoughts. But for once, she didn't mind it. She had been dealing with so many stressful things, that it felt kind of fun to have a thought like that, no matter how silly it might have been. Her head would twist in one direction, amber gaze straining to see what lied beyond some of the passages she was walking by. So engrossed in trying to determine which way she should go, that she didn't realize where her next step would lead her. Her paws would suddenly strike air, her body lurching forward and the alphess would tumble down into darkness. The only source of sound that had managed to escape her was a surprised gasp along with a surprised squawk from Tanaraq. Both went rolling, and Avalon had quickly lost track of which way was up. But then again...she needn't worry about that for now. Because after what felt like nonstop tumbling, her body would land on hard group with a thud, the wind and consciousness knocked out of her. Nearby, Tanaraq would likewise take the same fate...the darkness now pressing upon them both.
