Kieryn was more than a little surprised when she saw Ritsy laughing. Her head cocked to the side curiously as he studied him for a moment. He seemed to be okay, no broken bones, and overall his mood hadn't change a bit. She gave him one more look over before a tentative grin crept along the corners of her mouth as she stared at him. He mentioned his tail and she looked behind him towards the stubby little thing. It was hard to imagine that was what had caused him to trip.

Her elation at winning tag didn't last long. She was still focused on his tail and, struck with a far amount of courage, she found herself asking a question before she could stop herself. "What happened to your tail to make it so short?" She'd never seen an adult with a stub tail before so she didn't understand. Had it just fallen off or had something happened to it?
