Everyone Will Know My Name

After a moment's hesitation Kharnage decided to take the left path. He'd barely taken a step into the fathomless darkness when his paw met air. With a yelp he fell off the drop off that he hadn't seen. He landed on an incline with a painful thud that dug sharply into his rub cage before he rolled down the steep slope for some feet before finally coming to a very painful halt as his other side slammed into a rock. Wheezing, out of breath, and very much in pain he lay there for a few minutes. His head was still swirling from the head over heels tumble and his ribs ached painfully. Nothing felt broken but it sure as hell was painful to breathe. Rather than testing his luck by trying to get up (falling didn't seem like a great thing to do again) he rested against the rock with his head against the cool stone. "Stupid fucking cave." He grumbled out loud. What had he been thinking coming into a dark cave, by himself, thinking he could explore it. Now he had bruised ribs to show for it and he doubted he'd be getting out of it any time soon. What rotten luck! Walk, "Talk" Think |
