Goodness only knew what inspired Carletta to travel north where the winds bit colder than before. The female tried to catch her breath, forcing herself along as she sought out shelter from the wind. That shelter, it would seem, would come in the form of a strange vessel near water.
Carletta eyed it with uncertainty. The object was something she’d never seen before… how strange it was. Seeming to be made of wood and some other material by the smell. Perhaps even more than two, Carletta thought, edging closer to it. Would it be alright to go upon the thing? She could smell the scents of other wolves around it… was it worth getting out of the wind to potentially walk into a stranger’s home? |
