Her heart nearly leapt from her chest at the sudden sound of words from behind her. The voice was male, and immediately she felt herself spin to face him. Silently her paws moved across the sand, digging it to let her rear swing around. Her auds remained on him, and she didn't say anything at first, allowing herself to quiet down before daring a reply. She didn't know what he would do. Maybe he's bait, maybe he's not. After a while she spoke, her lavender gaze still stuck to him like glue, watching and waiting. Her vocals were soft, "...I suppose. I'm not sure what sort of company you're seeking." |
