She mentioned Arian, and her smile grew a touch more sober. She shook it off when he apologized, her delicate shoulders shrugging. "Don't be, it's nice to remember Arian as she was, how many lives she touched. It's a great way to relive her memories," Amalia said tenderly. She couldn't avoid her sisters name in conversations or try to forget what had happened. It was in the past now, there was nothing she could do to change it. There had been awhile there when she blamed herself for what happened, for not reaching out and trying to help the woman. But the peace in her heart told her otherwise, that the actions that had taken place were leading her down that path. It wasn't something anyone could have prevented, some wolves thought that they were right in doing the wrong thing. Sighing, she widened her grin as she laughed softly, her head tilting to one side slightly as she listened to Quelt. This was not time for her! She needed to focus on the task at hand, something that always worked for her.
He had given her his face to inspect, so after brushing away her own problems she closed the gap between them. She may be small, but she was mighty when it came to the power of healing. It wasn't hard to see that the scar had long since healed, no infections present. It was a pretty taunt part of the face though, and she could see that it might bent and twist as he made facial expressions and talked. The cold probably irritated the exposed skin, like a bitter wind blowing in your face. She hummed softly, wondering what she could possibly do for it. There wasn't much, which made her frown. Amalia listened to him speak of his own family, her heart aching for him and his children that got left behind. Holding her comment back, she peeking at his good eye with a smile. "I can tell that you and Bright Moon care for each other," she said softly, no need to speak loudly when she was this close to him. Backing up to give him room, she eyed his scars with a determined gaze. "I can put some juniper oil on your scars, which can help soothe the irritation. Other than that, there isn't much else I can offer you."
