The Fire Still Burns

She was fat. It was a strange thing for the normally thin she-wolf. Before she knew it hr stomach had started filling out and now she felt like an overgrown cow on stilts. Her legs were still lean, as well as the front portion of her, and then the rest of her was all stomach. She didn't know how many of the little buggers were in there but there were either a lot of them or they were huge. She thought of Zell's height and immediately blanched at the thought. Were they going to be massive too? Large genes ran on her side of the family as well. Just her luck to possibly birth a bunch of giants. How painful was that going to be? The bright side of being pregnant was that Fortune was helping her hunt. As the weeks passed on she'd had to require more of her cousin's help. Being so fat now meant she got to stay so close to home, but now the downside was that she was bored. Without needing to patrol borders or anything anymore she found she had nothing to do. She couldn't do practice spars or anything either. She didn't want to risk hurting her unborn children. Finally she couldn't take it anymore and left to go on a small adventure. That adventure meant getting up at the buttcrack of dawn, but she did it. She'd been awake for a little while anyways. She made it all the way to the willows (feeling quite out of breath when she arrived) before she finally decided to take a break. These kids were such leeches! She had no energy anymore and she had the feeling that wouldn't improve when they were born either. Finding a nice tree to rest under she flopped against the trunk as she caught her breath. This was ridiculous. Walk, "Talk" Think |
