With a dip of her head she turned to leave. After all if the lady didn't want her help she wasn't going to force it upon her. To do so would only engender the fury of the stranger as most had been wont to do in the tales she'd heard during her first months of life when the story tellers of the pack wove the magic of words with their silver and gilded tongues. Whether they were true or not, in part or in whole still had given to she and her siblings and all those within he natal pack a lesson. To be careful of strangers and not to force anything on them they didn't ask for, whether they were polite about it or not.
When she lifted her head to look back at the one unknown to her eyes widened. The lady closer than she'd thought and not only that, she asked for her assistance. Well perhaps ask was too polite a term.
Turning around she placed her right paw forward. "Show me the pad. If it's not too bad it may just need a few licks. But even little wounds can turn bad by turning a puffy red with smelly oozing pus. Lamb's ear and trillium would be best." Of course she'd need to find them if she were to apply anything. But having someone look could at least be part of a preventative measure she thought. And better yet to make sure the wound wasn't dirty otherwise it really could go bad. The quickest way to be rid of an infection then she thought was to gnaw off the affected limb if naught else could be done, otherwise death would surely follow as the infection made its way throughout the body. How that happened she hadn't a clue only that she'd heard tales of it and didn't wish it on anyone, even a rude individual.
