Kinship
Her trip to Boreas had been fruitful, though her thoughts lingered on many things both good and bad. She wasn't sure why, but she had been thinking about her past family. Her father, her mother, her siblings, cousins, uncles and aunts...which brought her to think about Creed and her other cousins. They had all lived together once. One, big family that formed the Glaciem clan. She seemed to almost crave that again...for them all to be together. Like thats the way it should be...they had all been so close before, and it seemed alot of her true kin were dispersed across the lands and it just didn't feel right to her. If there was one thing she valued above most everything else, it was family and loyalty to those ties.
She trekked her way through the basin, a light snow fall coating her fur. It wasn't too cold here in the west, but she appreciated the snow. After all, back in their new home, it felt like summer. Which she didn't mind. It meant they wouldn't have to struggle for food or resources this time of year. She had considered going to visit Creed, and maybe meet the kids he had talked about. How was he doing? Was he okay? Was he happy? She didn't like to think that he wouldn't be, especially being around those who weren't...well, in her opinion, family. Although she supposed it wasn't too bad if he had kids now, and his brother Crucible was still there too, right? Turning her head, she looked in the direction of Celestial for a moment, though she doubted that he would have time to see her anyway since his paws were full, she was sure. Hers had been when she had her kids, anyway. |
