Nako settled down where he sat and nodded in affirmation of the woman allowing him to sit by her as they both stared out over the moonlit lake. It was the second lake in a second dead land that he had purposefully come across and another woman was to be met. It was a nice reprieve from his brothers certainly and by far the only way to get news about what was changing in the lands as events and happenings were taught to him. She was away from her den? Was wanderlust also in her heart to get away from pack life? Yes, he smelling it from her pelt. Other wolves and territory radiated from her like the moons glow coming through the withers of her curves. Lyre, the woman named herself as such and the name was tested silently on his tongue.
"Likewise." Nodding politely in turn as he continued to stare out across the ice as she asked what brought him out this way in the world. Lyre seemed a decent sort and he relaxed his posture and turned to look at her. "This land was of my childhood as I became a yearling. Years ago there was a pack here, Ebony, and I for the life of me wish that I knew what happened to make it vanish even though rogue life still holds itself to be more appealing." Nako trailed off as he looked around. It was just like Seracia in terms of Ebony's end. No story to be told of when everyone went away. Just remnants and memories of those who lived and his father that always wanted to be moving. "I'm sure there are some who know somewhere, but I'm taking a bit of a break and walking my path in childhood before responsibilities of family and being a donor father got the better of me." Nako stopped after that and realized that he was talking a bit to much. Or not? It had been far to long, again, since being in a strangers presence. He wasn't any good at these sorts of things, taking to addressing Lyre's own reason for being here as a hind leg came up to scratch behind an ear. "Yourself?" The male asked. "Why's a pack wolf all the way out here?" He settled his paws and scooted a bit closer to the woman in a showing of curiosity.
