Lyre would intently listen to the man, studying his body language and story. She was interested in what he had to say. She wasn't from here and pack life was a new style for her. "I grew up on the southern continent. I lived with a bunch of my friends which I guess was considered your so-called "pack."" She sighed slightly, almost agitated at her thoughts. "We happened to lose each other, but we will find ourselves again one day."
A light chuckle escaped her maw at his question, "I'm new to pack life, just trying to fit in. I need to think some on my own. Plus it's nice to have some alone time." It was true. Lyre was an extremely social wolf but she wasn't used to being around others anymore. She wanted others to like her and she was sure that they would, but she just felt like the odd one out. Just look at her.
Her mind quickly wandered to his comment about family and him being a donor father. Was it possible that he could have been better than anyone else? "I don't mean to be rude..." She spoke quietly and awkwardly, it wasn't something you just asked a complete stranger. But she was used to this question. She had tried so many times it was getting old. It was all she wanted in the whole world and she wasn't able to bare and child yet. "Would you be willing to do me a favor?" She gave him a second to answer if he wanted to say anything, "You said you were a donor. Would you be willing to help me out?" Silver eyes looked down at the sparkling lake as flurries began to come across the surface. "I've been trying to have a child for years now. Maybe you could be the one?" She didn't look up after asking. She wasn't sure if it was because she may have shed a few tears or that the whole situation was uncomfortable for her. Maybe for him too, who knew? "I hope you're not offended, I should have asked if you were mates before asking myself."
