He would listen to her showing interest in what she had to say with a grin. He remembered when he was as excited as her. Granted, he still kind of was but his energy had died down a lot since he was a yearling and it wasn't cute anymore when he acted that way. Maybe to someone but not to most.

"Well my brother, Colten, was brown with black spots on his butt. I think I got it a little better than he had." He chuckled, implying that he found himself a little more handsome than his brother. It was weird thinking of Colten now. It had been so long since the last time he saw him that he was starting to forget some of the little things. It made him sad, but not at this moment. The girl's happy-ego would make that subside for later.

Ears perked to the mention of Leo. It was the only wolf he had met so far from the pack and the only one of his siblings as well. "Well Leo and me share the same dad so that makes me your uncle. That means you got your spots from your grandfather." It wasn't the first time he felt this kind of relationship with someone else, he was Cohen's uncle. But  now he had more of a chance to bond with these wolves and he wouldn't waste a minute of it.

He couldn't help but feel sorry for the girl who had lost her mother. He wasn't new to that feeling either and though he missed Maia with all his heart, the pain had numbed through the years."My mother passed away before I was a year old. I hope your mother returns soon. If not, you will meet her again one day." He reassured her, not trying to make her feel sad for him but just happy to think that her own mother would be back. He wasn't even sure if she knew what passed away meant, but she looked old enough to understand. It wasn't really something you learned until it actually happened in your life.
