Snow's not just for wolves {PO, AW}

Exodus was usually the first one up and out of the den. But maybe he was out a little too late without his afternoon nap yesterday so he didn't even hear the howl that came across the lands. He would be completely unaware of all that nonsense, if their home was taken or not. He was just a pup and didn't think anything of those sorts of things. But if their home was taken from him, he would definitely be confused and heart broken. His brother leaving the den was enough to actually wake him even though he wasn't loud or anything. Raising his head, he blinked a couple times before getting up and standing the front half of his body outside the den, eyeing the grey boy stomping around in the snow. He himself hadn't actually seen it fall from the sky, but he was well aware about it being on the ground and knowing that he couldn't "keep it" as his brother was attempting to do. Seeing Fable start to turn, Exodus would quickly huncker down and try to kind of army crawl behind the den but his brother would stop as his mouth-full of snow was dropped to the ground. Quietly laughing at the oblivious boy, and then would start his devious plan. He laid down in the white snow, bouncing it back and forth with his front paws just as Crucible had showed him. Seeing that the ball was good enough, not as good as his uncle's were, he scooped it up and threw it at his brother hoping it would fall somewhere on him as he learned. He would jump around with glee if it had, if not he would start to make a new one. |
