the colors of my life
are painted in black and white
are painted in black and white
She just had to go exploring. Her thoughts were beyond sarcastic at this point. She'd left Nox a while ago with the full confidence that her companion would catch up. Spring was here and yet the north had been so full of snow - she'd practically buried herself in her den to avoid it. She hated feeling cold all the time so a trip had felt more than needed. Of course her leopard friend had loved every minute of it, but Nox was built for such weather. Armai on the other hand practically drowned in it. So hiding had been her solution despite the fact she hated that almost as much as the snow.
So she'd headed off on her own and gotten herself lost.
Which naturally led to her going into some cave. The smell of iron and other earthy scents was heavy in her nostrils and the sound of trickling water was easily a pleasant thing for her ears. She could even hear the constant drip, drip, drip of water coming from the stalactites. Her nose lowered to the ground and she padded slowly deeper into the cave. The darkness certainly wouldn't bother her - in fact she didn't noticed it all since her world was constantly nothing but darkness anyways.
It wasn't until her feet hit nothing but air, a small drop off, and she tumbled head over heels that she realized the horrible situation she'd gotten herself in to. She lay on the ground panting for a moment, adrenaline singing through her blood, before sitting up straight to access the damage. She moved one limb at a time to test their functionality and found that, other than a minor shoulder ache, everything seemed in tact. Now the only problem was how did she get back to the entrance. She raised her snout to the air to test it, but between the water, stale air, and the earthen smells she couldn't make heads or tails of the place.
Armai has a female snow leopard companion that goes by the name of Nox. It can be assumed that she is always with Armai unless otherwise stated.
