The sound of her bells were the first thing to give away her presence, their light jingling echoing off the cavern walls. As soon as they chimed in with the sound of the wind, Brutus' soft facial features expressed a genuine smile. He slowed down his pace to give her time to catch up to him, and when her hushed voice rang clear through the air he gave a slight twist of his neck to let his piercing blue gaze peer back to her.

He smirked, a single chuckle resonating in his chest through closed lips before he nodded his head in agreement. "Indeed it is, though I am pleasantly surprised by the chance for your company. What are you up to today, Jaelle? And how has spring been treating you thus far?" He flicked a single ear as he waited for her to join him at his side before he continued walking through the cavern. The cave might not have been as colorful as some others, but it was the sound and the breeze that could still be felt that he admired. He turned his face to the direction of the wind ahead of him and let it gently flow through the longer fur surrounding his cheek and neck. It was an odd feeling, being in a cave with wind, but he took a deep breath and cherished the feeling.
