Heather went on to watch the pack. How her father went to present the food to the two youths in the pack. Her heart went out to them for a moment - knowing how hard it was to lose a parent. However - in a way she was envious. At least they knew what happened to their parents. Heather didn't know whether her mother, left, was dead or otherwise. Letting the thought leave she would see that her brother wasn't here yet - not to hear his promotion. Worry welled within her. What if he got sick of her, not letting that show she twitched the end of her tail looking at Jackson. One of her cousins from what she had heard as the same was to be said of Razor.

"I hope I can serve all of you well." she said out loud dipping her head towards the pack. Swallowing she was overwhelmed with excitement and nervous feelings. Things she at least had been able to grasp a little. Perhaps with a little work she'd be okay, but otherwise it still almost felt like a small shiver in her skin. Taking in a deep breath she tried to let these thoughts pass. They did not control her as much as they could control her life. Heather concentrated on what was in front of her - this was her life. she would take control of it and show that she shone brighter than any sun.
