Mama Said Knock You Out

The male had to admit, getting accustomed to another pack so soon was strange. He'd been in Abaven for a while, though didn't do much there. Here though, he had children to look after which he was grateful for. They gave him a sense of purpose, where before he felt like he didn't have one. He was lying on the ground, Kairi climbing on his back and nipping his ears as he lazily yawned and let her chomp on him. Faite was pretty busy in her new role as an alphess, but Zell didn't hold her lack of time against her. She had to do what she had to do, and in all honesty he didn't mind babysitting. He would help her where he could if she needed it, though so far, she seemed to have a handle on it. When he heard her howl for him and the kids, he waited a moment as Kairi rolled off and excitedly began to wiggle about. "Alright girl, let's go see what your mother is up to!" As he rose to his paws, Kairi decided to climb onto his back and take a ride. The large male smiled as he barked for the other kids to come along too, and at a steady pace lumbered towards where Faite waited.
He was still confused as to what to call their relationship. Their supposed one night stand had turned into something more. It had turned into a lot more than what they both bargained for, but since it happened, he didn't regret it at all. He had five beautiful kids, and they changed his life for the better. Hell, even Faite changed him in a way. Even though they weren't mates in a sense, he still felt a sense of protection over her. Maybe a little...possessive, but more protective than anything. She was the mother of his children after all, and thus part of his life and his new family. When Faite came into view, Kairi slipped off his back as he approached. "Good morning!" He greeted with a smile.
