I just wanna be by your side
It seemed she had stumbled across one of the grumpy ones again. It took a bit of effort for Solveiga to bite back a laugh, as laughing would not be a wise choice in this situation. She just found wolves like this to be amusing, with the way they condemned themselves to such a bitter and gloomy state. But she understood that for some, it wasn't a choice. So she composed herself and gave the male a polite smile. His reasons for sulking were his own, and it wasn't her place to judge or to pry.
He pushed aside some flowers as if they were a nuisance and turned his glower on Solveiga. His words were amusing, and this time she couldn't help letting a chuckle slip. "Fair enough," she replied. "I am enjoying the weather, thank you. Sunshine is much better than snow and bitter cold winds, in my opinion."
After this, she lowered her eyes to the plants around her again. Perhaps the man wanted to continue on his way, and she certainly wouldn't stop him. Solveiga knew grumpy types like him. She knew that most of them preferred to be alone. So she padded through the greenery once more, tail wagging to celebrate her success as she found a small patch of lavender, with their purple blooms fluttering in the warm breeze.
